Kitkat Mocha Chocolate Cupcake

标题很长的蛋糕名字 ><
其实标题里面应该去掉mocha !
因为我虽然有用咖啡粉,
可是做出来的蛋糕居然一点咖啡味道都没有...
失败 ><

本来是没有打算要做这个蛋糕的,
只是在facebook上面看到一个蛋糕
类似这个...
所以就突然很想模仿做一个 ^^
可是又觉得放到那么多m&m 不好吃的,
最后就舍弃掉m&m,
做这个kit kat cupcake ^^

因为要做蛋糕当然要材料,
我就打电话叫爸爸回来时后顺便买5包kit kat 回来,
可是一买回来我和弟弟吃掉一包(贪吃!)
就剩下4包罢了,
要做的时候又怕不够,
所以最后就叫地地骑自行车去买 xD

做这个cupcake是晚上10点才开始做的 ><
(这种就叫做神经病咯 @.@ )
准备是很快,
大概10点20分已经弄好那个面团了,
烤当然也不是很花时间,
可是最费力又费时的应该就是上面的奶油了(又不好吃!)
本来是想说不要做了,
弄到自己全身油腻腻的 ><
可是想到不做上面就没有kit kat 黏着料,
所以..... 牺牲小我,完成蛋糕 ^^

不过成品还是很难看,
因为我觉得我做的奶油好像很失败 :(
不过最糟糕的居然是,
我做好了把蛋糕留到隔天早上起来吃,
然后发觉到.....
kit kat 漏风料 (皮了!)
这样不是说明我浪费了我的精力在那边弄奶油 @.@

不过还好全部人讲这次的蛋糕好吃,
除了上面漏风的kit kat (废话!)

Kit Kat Mocha Cupcakes
Makes 18 Cupcakes
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, at room temperature
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
3/4 cup dark chocolate, chopped
Kit Kat Bites 72 or 5 Full Bars
Directions: 
1. Preheat to 350°F. Line cupcake pan with liners.
2. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a measuring cup, combine the milk, brewed coffee and vanilla.
3. In a stand mixer, using a flat beater on medium-high speed, beat the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add the egg and beat until combined. Slowly add the flour mixture, alternating with the coffee mixture, ending with the flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
4. Fill cupcake liners about 2/3 full. In each cupcake liner drop three Kit Kat Bites, pressing down so only one side of the square is visible. You want them to be inside the cupcake while it’s cooking. Bake for about 17-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean. Let cool before icing cupcakes.
5. After icing the cupcakes, crush up as many Kit Kat Bites as you want and sprinkle or roll the frosting on the cupcakes in the pieces.
Of course, if you decide to use any other kind of chocolate bar or candy bar, substitute in place of the Kit Kat Bites.
Chocolate Buttercream Icing
Recipe makes a lot of icing.  I like it thick and generous!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup  unsalted butter, room temperature
2 cups powdered sugar
8 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tablespoons cream (may need more for desired consistency)
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter. In a medium bowl, combine sugar and cocoa. Beat together sugar and cocoa to butter. Slowly add milk to butter mixture. Add more milk if needed to thin out so icing is spreadable.
